Isn't it a myth that full owner operators get hauled less?

Doesn't someone who runs their own trailer and truck have to deal with more tracking apps and update-calls than a company driver?

    I don't mind them.

When you come to appreciate many of the high performance individuals piloting these trucks, I can absolutely understand why a shipper would want tracking on a load.

No one ever calls me..a second time :)
Honestly no one ever calls and bugs me. I get an email now and then and if I’m in the mood I’ll reply.

Tracking apps I have quite a few and most times leave them on. I got no hang ups using them and “Being tracked”.
In my mind, if I agree to use a tracking app then don’t even think of calling me and asking where I am..

Lol, as I look at a Prime Inc trailer ready to tip over.. Seriously I wonder how it affects the reefer unit with the oil sloshed to one side?

They don't run too long on their side or upside down.
    Neither does the truck..

Seen a girl with one of ours once........

This tiny casino in Tonopah Nevada. They have Chinese, and I'd always stop and get some Kung Pao to go........

So this girl is sitting in front of this video poker machine, just smooth up in it. Cigarette in one hand. Ok.

Noticed a seal on the back of her trailer, so she is loaded.

I went to Reno, unloaded, reloaded, stopped on the way back 3 days later, truck hadn't budged one inch, and neither had she.

Little heads up on that issue…

Anyone heading towards the WV Turnpike needs to turn their CB ON!!

Just got off the phone with a friend at the WVDH and it’s a mess.

Truck driver was just over 2 times the limit, that will be his career down the tubes….

Even if I'm lost, someone normally will tell me in a colorful way. Were to go. Such nice people on the road these days.

My drivers have phones that are locked, they can only add contacts to the contact list but they can’t add apps. I we provide a broker on a case by case basis information for that truck at specific intervals, either by them looking it up on our operations website (requires a log in which requires the broker filling out a form and get it approved) or they can request text messages sent to them at specific intervals. But no apps.
