We do rescue or distressed loads all the time, lately it has increased with people buying used crap and not putting money to make them dependable.

It ain't just the dealers full up. Last year I had injector cups go out on me, took me nearly a week to get in and that was at my uncles shop.

Towing companies sometimes will have O/Os or local trucking companies nearby them they can call to repower the load. I've done a couple of them before for a garage close by to me.

You find out who your friends are. Seriously though I have been on both ends of it. Me and three other guys now share a old beater truck for this purpose. It’s pretty cheap split four ways and me and one other guy use it occasionally to pull an extra trailer around close to home.
