    Hello all,

What is everyone's recommendation for where to buy chains, binders etc? I am finding a lot of sites are out-of-stock on one thing or another so I would have to order from multiple sites.

I just bought a new lowboy and looking to outfit it.

I'll be hauling machines up to 120,000lb's and would like quality stuff, no junk.

Would like to hear everyone's thoughts on their loadouts, if you could start from scratch what would you carry on your trailer?

    I'm thinking:

8x ratchet binders 1/2"x5/8"(ones that have the slip and double grab hooks, 15K rating)
    4x 1/2" 6ft chains
    4x 1/2" 12ft chains
    4x 1/2" 16ft chains
    8x 4"x30ft ratchet straps
    4 coil racks
    Cheater bar
    Height stick

    Ideas on dunnage?

    Not looking to tarp.

    Thanks.

You bought a $350,000 trailer and you don’t know where to buy chain?

Crosby binders and Peerless chains are what I use. You should be able to find them locally. Also, a 3/8 - 1/2 binder has a 15k rating.

I didn't buy a $350K trailer, I bought a $80K trailer and I didn't pick it up yet. Where I live, no one sells chains, binders, etc. So I would like to order online.

Yes 15K rating 5x = 75K WLL if i'm hauling an excavator and have 5 chains on. Meaning that is a minimum for a 150Klb machine. Correct?

Probably cheaper to buy grade 70 chain and grade 70 hooks in bulk and make your own.

Gotta be a farm supply store near by. Or even a home improvement store should sell chain and binders

Any of those or an industrial supplier would have all of that.

anyone ever dealt with myteeproducts? They have some good prices on grade 70 15K WLL chains/binders.

Sorry, but the only thing they sell near me in a 50 mile radius is plant based I can't believe its not meat, and gender neutral bathroom signs.

Are you running a 2-3-2 or a 3-2 for that weight.
You definitely need grade 100- 1/2 for that weight.
