Yes and they must fly around on private jets or sail on yachts that burn 300 gallons of DIESEL AN HOUR to inform all of us peasants

Again it's your truck ... JMO .. but those wing vents windows are part of what make a 359 classic.. I like them and they actually are beneficial..
That's like have'n a 1963 split window vet.. and making the rear window 1 piece..

Its not the truck, but the motor that is the issue so not sure why that model of truck would have to be discontinued with production. Maybe their just using emissions as an excuse to discontinue the model.

Because of the class 8 fuel economy standards. It’s been explained and also linked in this thread.

According to the studies I’ve read the auto shift tranny takes an average driver and improves his economy by shifting for economy. No more over revving the engine, but according to the studies it’s only a 3% improvement.

I do spec my trucks with auto shift but not for the economy reason’s, I like the convenience and ease of wear and tear on my left knee due to damage from a rookie mistake while hauling cattle.

Once you're up to speed the top ratio is the same. Only place you'd really see an economy gain is in stop & go.

Once you get into oversize or higher weights fuel economy goes out the window anyways so who cares?

I don't think I use my clutch more than 10-20 times a day on average?
