Everything else on the chart says to reference Appendix B when talking about twin steers. Unless there's something I'm missing?

Unimog u500? Which type of tires and dimmension?

Twin steer 8x4 wont work well offroad, it sits on front axles and lose traction. Mb had load sharing front suspension to compensate height and make it smoother on terrain to make less drag. We use straight front axles to get more ground clearance to eliminate that twin steer problem.

In europe finland has most of 4 timber trucks. They use all kind of setups. Twin steer, wide spread twin steer, tridem with lead (i believe it is best for them) or trailing axle.

How common is use of CTI on BC loggers?
NZ and australia use it often.
    Scotland use it often.

Rigid frames are about the same. Ever wonder why a lot of eastern tractors have a 16k front end? I can put 6000kg on a steer with 11Rs on it. We used to be able to go 7700kgs on a steer with enough tire and axle. The SPIF foolishness may have ####ed that up though. Clarence Darrow couldn’t make any sense out of that mess.
