Normal to see this in the dirty south. Sometimes four generations in one truck at a time with All the kids. And kids of the kids during summer break.

The only time to be alarmed down here is when they come out of the trailer. That record holds at 76 set back around 2009.

Is the dirty south next to the clean south, or is it all dirty?

    Going along with this.
Down here in high property taxes Tejas another thing you will notice is it isn’t just one couple with kids buying the new houses in subdivisions going up like it used to be anymore. It’s a bunch of the family. In-laws, cousins, siblings, friends, all moving in together. Just to afford the mortgage and taxes. An acre can be over $1200 a month without a dwelling on it.

The dirty south is anything south of Austin, east to the arm pit of Tejas we call Houston, and on down to the border. Lol!

That's not necessarily a bad thing ... the Vietnamese were doing this back in the 70s. They would buy one house everyone would move in and contribute. Pay of the house, buy another one, rinse and repeat until all the families had their own home.

I ain’t hating the idea of it. I can see the financial benefits. Me and the wife need to do this. Would help with expenses. Seems we are the only ones solo in our area. Some have gotten to the point they have others living in a travel trailer backed up to the house. Only thing that keep us from doing it is knowing we can’t sanely deal with our family. Lol!

Every time school gets out I always see whole families in a truck. One time I counted 2 adults, 4 kids, and 2 German shepherds. Like… how in the world!?!

From San Antonio can confirm it’s dirty south.

We south enough for bad neighborhoods, high heat, and crime, but too far north for the good tacos
