Ever get a headlight on a truck or ever a personal vehicle that gets that cloudy white haze over time. I’ve seen kits online and in places like auto parts stores that say they can get it looking new for $20-50. Don’t know how well they work.

Also what’s the best window/mirror cleaner, I use Rain X on the outside, the inside can also get that fog over time, what products do you use to get your windows and mirrors super clean?

A maintenance guy at our warehouse fixed our trucks plastic headlight lenses with “OFF”. Yes. The mosquito spray. Believe it or not.
Something with the ingredients is the same stuff as the so called plastic restore stuff.
I’ve used Meguire’s PlastX with ok results.

Once they're heated too much they're done IMO. Anything you put on them or sand them with won't last. I just replace them with new ones. They're cheap and don't take long to install.

For glass, I use alcohol and vinegar. Works great with no streaks. If I have to buy a premixed product, I reach for Invisible Glass.

Notmally I use Dawn & water (4 fl ozs per quart) on the outside & in the windshield washer tank, and rubbing alcohol & newspaper on the inside.

When I want to get the film off of a piece of glass, I use rubbing alcohol and then wipe with a series of dry paper towels. When it gets much more difficult to move the paper towel, that's when you know you've gotten the film off.

An old car/truck show trick to make glass appear invisible is to apply a coat of Turtle Wax just like you would do to the paint: apply the wax with the moistened sponge, let it haze, then buff it off. The faster your hand is moving when you buff it, the better.

i buy the Turtle Wax brand of headlight haze remover, works very well.

for window cleaning, i use an old fashion cleaner, comes in a spray can, comes out as a spray foam, does not leave any streaks.

This guy is the real MVP

Ever watch a 20 minute video on duct tape? Now you can. Yet it’s fascinating stuff.
