Why do you care so much what I think about the matter? I hate unions and there's nothing you, them or anyone else can do to change my opinion on it. I don't have to justify my feelings about it nor explain to you but it seems you have something at stake here hence your singling my comments out concerning the matter. I hope they all get crushed by a train.

I have no issue with Unions one way or the other , I live in the hometown of union pacific and have 2 neighbors that work for them and I get more time off than they do so I'm on your side .
An example here recently was Kelloggs that got fed up with being worked to death and went on strike for about 6 months ..it wasn't about wages or benefits they just wanted a day off !

That’s all it’s about, a day off. The only way we can get two days off is if we work 6 starts then we get mandatory rest period of 48 hours. The RR’s know this and on your 5th start they put you in a siding and van you home so technically it’s not a start so only 24 hours off on their terms. It sucks, thanks for not drinking the Kool Aid like the rest on this forum.

Well I'm glad we separated the buckwheat from the BS and we can be friends now ...just be nice to my brothers.
I dont know of anyone in omaha that's happy with UP and they can't find help here for what we're once coveted jobs , like Kelloggs there's no point there's no point in a good paying job when you live at work .

We’re just trying to keep our families fed like any hard working folk. I came here from trucking and that’ll always be my first love I understand both sides of the coin, my time here is limited I’ll be back behind the wheel here in the coming weeks. The RR is fun playing trains and all but I’m out, even if we do get the contract. Glad we can be civil about it.

Stop crying. You get paid for it at an above average wage. Need a day off? Quit.

My boss is a Huskers fan, any time Ohio State and Nebraska play, I offer him a wager, first time I did it he accepted, now he just glares at me
