Let's hope they perform half as well as Bridgestones. This will be a good experiment. Where is the DOT plant code located on the tire? Would this tell you the actual factory name and location?

First two numbers or letters in the dot number. Should have a “1” in front if a 2021 or newer tire. So example would be 17X or 18X if Bridgestone in Graniteville, SC.

    gekko1323 Thanks this.

H is 16 ply which is what I prefer but I have the G rated 517s on my truck which is a 14 ply, tire cause that's all they had.

    Siinman and gekko1323 Thank this.

I very fortunate to know a tire guy/friend, he gives me a heads up when certain suppliers are having a promotion on certain name brands. If I’m in need of tires, he’ll pick them up for me straight from the wholesaler. His profit comes from dismount and mounting the new tires.

    Siinman and gekko1323 Thank this.
