I was definitely speaking purely from a legal stand point: I cannot figure a point where a dozer blade starts moving on its own during transport that there isn’t another more immediate concern, like the transport unit cartwheeling off the roadway... but then I’m not a equipment hauler. So maybe theres more to it than I know regarding how much movement is possible? I thought it looked pretty cool up on that rollback.

    Not quite
There has always been the ####-hat that thinks he is the good Lord's gift to all around them.
It is just that they are reproducing like rabbits the last 20 years.

I can’t find it but someone asked about hauling lumber and general freight on an rgn. They were basically called stupid. Well i guess im with stupid this week. Might as well let someone else pay for the fuel on a 1500 mile deadhead. I even get to practice tarping, the first of two stops is the long piece across the top. 1148926E-FD84-4A1B-837F-DFD3EB96F56A.jpeg 5D9B3940-BFD8-4A5C-B3A2-BC0BA4B896B6.jpeg

On my way to pick up a load recently, I was reminded of that thread when I saw quite a few double drops headed somewhere with lumber on them.

Ya,those floor sections are heavy and a pain.
Then they had these aluminum ones made.
    Rated at 20k per side.
    Weighed about 150 a side.
They were clumsy, but you could move them without needing a forklift.

In my prime,I could muscle them up on the top deck.
Nowadays, I need a helper. Lol
