Last week was not good, barely cleared 2000mi, but idk how much of that was because I got stuck in effing hell, I mean Florida. Had overage on a load that cost me a 900mi load the hell out that delivered first thing Monday and instead got a load 400mi deadhead then 450 back into Florida. The few weeks before that were decent, this week's looking meh, might get close to 3k depending on what happens Thursday.

I don't think so, I have a good asset manager, but don't think I'm getting"favors". I think it helps some that I live in the midwest, as it's easy to keep driving and get me home when it's time. I pretty much just do what they give me, don't turn anything down unless it's really unproductive. I've only missed getting the bonus once since they've started it, and I was off around 20 days that quarter. A lot of the issues I've been hearing are reefer type problems, I'm on the dry side, so maybe that has something to do with it too.

Yeah, that makes sense. Where I live in BFE, getting home has always been a deal and doing so pulled down my average miles. Good dispatchers make the difference too. The first company I worked for kept feeding me miles knowing the load gets there on time every time. The second company I worked for was okay, but the dispatcher changed so often that it took them a while to understand my 10 hr break is 10 hours and 1 minute every day and I ran the load, so the miles were so so, compounded by me living in BFE.

They send out trips with short dead head miles first.
I don’t understand having the truck spending more time Idle than paying those miles.
I usually have to decline a load or two before they’ll open the limit, and send a decent PP.

Going through my 20+ msg left while I was away. I saw they sent me 3 other load plans before this one. Each one removed 1 minute after receiving it with the reason being "Driver HOS prevents ontime delivery". Wonder how having a full 70 prevents on time deliver but oh well. Seems they saw I was on vacation so maybe wanted to give me an easy run just incase I forgot how to drive an automatic truck.
