Article says the 4 occupants of the auto passed away. More likely, they were slaughtered.

 

If he's found at fault, then he'll be looking at a lengthy jail sentence along with his truck driving career being over. He may have survived but he'll wish he didn't.

 

When i was making products, i always said i make the perfect product every day, but god makes the perfect idiot every second. So far he’s winning this war. I swear people will find a way to screw up using a brick.

 

Highway speeds brake failure that truck wouldn’t have stopped like that in the picture, it would have disintegrated by causing major damage. That truck had brakes, the driver most likely didnt calculate weight and speed and couldn’t stop in time and went past the light or stop sign.


Look at the picture that truck is still standing up.

 

I don’t agree with it being a restriction BUT I do however think it should be a requirement during both schooling/licensing and again during training.

After watching a few people that came looking for employment with newer CDL’s, the answers to questions I asked about thier schooling and any training they received after school. Promted me to change all my training routes to include as many reduced gear and hard braking areas as possible. I got some grief about increasing costs to extend the routes and increasing the training costs but in the long run the legal department sided with me.
I don’t know how others would feel but I would not be able to sleep at night giving people a license without knowing for fact they could perform such an important part of it.
