Heck, if you did lock people out for hijacking a thread, I'd have been gone years ago. I have accidentally derailed my share of threads over the years myself.

Looks good, Snack, and I'm sure the ensuing rainstorm was appreciated by the locals!

BTW, sorry about the detour, just can't seem to smack that gnat.....

Dang, what’s that you sitting in the corner of the yard this afternoon? I didn’t even think about it, I was parked with three white pallets of skylight security bars on a double drop.

Yeah, that was me. I was gonna come over and ask if it was you, but was still on the phone with Mrs. Snackbar when you left.

Got my next load, and it was a hand me down load. Previous driver wasn't gonna be able to do it. They waited until yesterday morning to tell me to go from the Rancho Cucamonga yard, thru morning rush hour in LA to pick up 2 stops down by Long Beach. One in Compton the other in Santa Fe. Then I had 1 delivery stop west of Victorville CA, 1 stop in Cedar City UT and a final stop in Ogden....and they needed it done by 1500 on Friday...which I initially thought was near impossible because of the traffic in LA...but I will make it. It is a tarp load, but they're expecting 0% chance of rain the whole trip, and the products are crated and well boxed so screw the tarps.

Dispatch also said they have a load to pick up in Orem going to Kansas, and then a load out of Kansas to FL so, if I can manage 2 delivery stops and 1 pickup today...I will make it home, Since I only have 3 total pieces left to unload(I got the 2 pick ups and 1 delivery done yesterday), getting to the Orem shipper is do-able, hopefully it's either a non-tarp load or they have parking.

Got her all shined up for my 6am hot date tomorrow. I’m picking up an oven, “hot date”, get it? 5296A91F-DF97-4313-B5BD-6A69916AF9E5.jpeg
Unfortunately with 525k miles this truck is going away soon. It’s been the best #### truck I’ve ever driven.

I'm hauling stealth airplane parts(they're in stealth mode), no tarps required.

    Actually -------
The customer in Orem they were gonna have me pick up from would close for the week before I could get there, so, instead they're deadheading me from Ogden all the way to Wichita to pick up a load to FL for hometime. I about fell over when he said it....but, no arguments from me.

Good old motorcycle doors. One of my favorite loads here. Glad they didn’t hang you out.

last load I hauled from Wichita to Florida was a 30’ crate that was about 1’ tall and 3’ wide. Gravy.

    Speed_Drums and Lonesome Thank this.
