Why is it sometimes impossible to shut the trailer doors on sloped ground?

No you've muddied the ability to identify the slope by having competing reference points. On one hand you have to connected lines with a very acute angle on the other hand in similar drawings the paper itself acts as the x and y axis to judge elevation of point a and point b for the slope calculation. All information is necessary information when the standard is such a high level of physics.

Hammer166 and Kyle G. Thank this.

I will once I state that I understand this in its entirety. I don't fully understand this in terms of physics 100% yet.

Perhaps if Hammer166 responds to my post #108, he might enlighten me to the degree that i understand this in its entirety.

You'll just have to be confused if that's why you think.

FYI, this right here is why you aren't getting the answers you want. To us, this "phenomenon" is so elementary, that we can't wrap our heads around why you can't understand it. We can't grasp why you can't just look at the trailer and immediately understand what's going on.

Why won't the doors close? Well, obviously something is in a bind. Why does that matter? Because the doors are square, and now the back of the trailer isn't.

To us, it's as obvious as breathing. No, it's more automatic than that. It's like our beating heart. We don't have to think about it literally on the same level as manually using your brain to cause your heart to beat.

You're asking for an ELI5 explanation, when a six-month old fetus already knows the answer. In fact, I just asked a five year old why the doors wouldn't close, and he slapped me.

Your statement is a fallacy of false equivalence. Also, please provide the objective measurement system of simplicity you reference in your statement.

I'm trying to understand this in terms of physics. I don't believe that an understanding of this in terms of physics is an extremely simple issue.

Yeah; I understand that myself. The challenge is to understand this in terms of physics like in Hammer166's post #84.

I doubt you could correctly answer the questions I asked in post #108 yourself.

This is an admission of bad faith on your part and that you truly are not solely seeking the truth. You ask for a very specific explanation but don't hold yourself accountable when providing the necessary details for respondents to satisfy the request.

We are just dumb truckers that understand why things are the way things are. Some people simply aren’t as dumb and understanding as we are, they’re not on our level of simpletondom, they have an understanding of rocket surgery that our brains can’t even comprehend.
