    94 W9 with a 3406E. CB and radio stopped working. Have power to and from CB, radio and accessory fuses. The switched power wire is working to the radio and CB but the constant hot wire (blue with orange stripe) is not. Ground is also good.

    If I jump power to the connector for the radio everything works again. Obviously the constant hot has a break in it somewhere or there's a fuse blown that I can't find. The only fuses I know of are in the kick panel behind the clutch pedal.

    Are there anymore I'm missing?

    I've traced the blue/orange wire to the firewall but it gets lost in the loom on the engine side. I also don't see where it leads up to the upper panel where the CB is mounted.

    Ideas?

    That's the only fuzes I know of too. Sounds like an old Pete and an old KW are almost identical. Supposedly on some trucks I've heard that there's more fuzes in the tool compartment when you open the side door to the sleeper, the tool compartment under the bunk supposedly there are sometimes fuzes in there mounted to the wall. Not the case on the 379 I'm driving but when I went on a simular hunt for fuzes on this truck I did some research and seen pictures of that.

    Corrosion on the backside of the fuse panel is a common problem for the W9.

    My box is definitely suspect. Have either of you replaced yours? It's on my list of repairs but KW wants almost 6k for one so until I find a decent used one it's not coming out.

    I don’t have a W9. I know a wrench for a local fleet and he’s done several. I think the first one took 8hrs. He’s down to 4-6hrs now.

    Before i spent even a couple of grand i would just replace with painless off road distribution center.

    Yes. Thanks for sharing that. Now I know how to remove them from the box! have a schematic from KW that has all the part numbers and Dillblox are mentioned and pictured.
