Dually question much appreciated

    Do I need to get commercial plates for a dually prior to operation? I just got a new dually and want to use it with a flatbed while the Cascadia is in the shop. The truck has dealer plates on it. Does it need commercial plates prior to commercial use? Seems weird to bring it through a weigh station with dealer plates on it. Any help is wonderful

    Temp dealer plates ? You buy vehicle from dealer, comes with temp registration, you the buyer go to DMV and register it (with comm plates) if being used as comm vehicle. What state you in ?
