Well that's new. All of a sudden I start getting emails from Bison. I only gotten ones from Hartt in the past. Also I thought to mention. I have now pulled a Bison and a few holding trailers. The Bison trailer technically wasted my time. Because I thought the airbags was leaking but turns out it dropping when you set the brakes is normal. So I spent hours waiting on unneeded service at a Petro for nothing. And holding trailers are all pos.

Bison just bought Pottles out of Maine……

Not that pottles was that great but I’m sure that place will go downhill fast.

I know it's a old post. But better update this vs making a new one.

So currently Bison buying Hartt and Pottles isn't going well. People who have at the company for years is leaving. Someone with 11 years at Hartt who was a terminal manager down in Sumter SC left the company. I talked to a driver who has been at Hartt for around 20 years the other day. He is planning on leaving next month. Even recommended me doing the same. We have started loosing contracts. Used to pull most of the loads out of the papermill in Rumford ME. I heard Schneider has taken most of it. Also currently barely anything is the same. Like pay for example. No one really is getting the same. Like someone who was at x company before. Is making more than someone else. Over the last few months. I have sat often. I used to have Maine to Wisconsin loads. But this week was first time in months I stepped into that state.

So currently I'm looking for another place and won't recommend whatever company is called now.

There is always a drop of mileage around holiday season. IMG-20230712-WA0001.jpg

This was posted on FB from one of their drivers a few days ago.
Some get hit harder, others don't.

Actually one thing I learned that is effecting the mileage. Bison has been having their drivers ie not Hartt/Pottles. Having priority on some loads. Like I mentioned about how I used to go from Maine to Wisconsin often. Loads like that in Auburn. Are giving to those drivers. Which honestly is a middle finger to us. Since they bought the companies forcing all trucks to be rebranded. They keep on acting like we're all a single company. It's not even close. Like I have also heard the shop in Maine does a better job at handling maintenance vs the ones in Wisconsin

You wanna say, that a Bison driver is taking a load away from you guys just because he had priority?
No way. A Canadian driver can't move a load within the US. Not even an empty trailer.
