I think it is important to not turn this thread into a woman-bashing one. I know many male trainers who have successfully trained females and continue to do so. To be honest I am happy there are men that will take them in to train. Also, men can be vindictive too! I'm not at liberty to get deep into the details but one of the worse betrayals I ever suffered was at the hands of a male! He beat me out of almost $25,000 about 15 years ago. A man that will train a female is tops in my book! I also have nothing against a man that will not!

The difference is:
Our society as all sorts of effective ways of dealing with bad men
We have pretty much zero tools at our disposal as men dealing with a woman gone rogue .
In the age of "Believe all Women" it is simply not safe for a male to train a women.
Its a gamble for your entire futureTripleSix, Another Canadian driver, 4wayflashers and 3 others Thank this. -
I love everything about women. I'd train them before I ever trained a male.

With all the talk of a supposed driver shortage, I never hear anything about the bottleneck that is OTR training with another driver. I've tried to talk several friends into getting their CDL and I can never get them past the part where they'll have to live on a truck with a stranger. It really isn't something a "normal" person would do, and I say that as someone who's done it.
Idk what the alternative would be, aside from maybe having the Federal Government offer insurance to cover first-year drivers so smaller companies could take them on and train locally. But there's gotta be a better way to train new drivers than throwing them in a metal box with a stranger for several weeks.Another Canadian driver and MartinFromBC Thank this. -
Had problems only once, and it was her being very aggressive, and wanting sex, and not willing to take no for an answer.
I put my cellphone onto record, and have her audio, she was subsequently fired, and left there to take Greyhound home.
Never had a female complain about me, or my training.
Plenty of thanks, but no complaints.Another Canadian driver and spindrift Thank this.
