They're covered in oil inside and out. They're hollow, but still 49,250 lbs.

I had a load of those shift on me one time. Same scenario, hard stop.. Except mine was a stoplight that turned on me at 40mph.. I was brand new driver at the time so wasnt good at timing lights... That one taught me a lesson. Shifted about 1ft forward and ripped thru the front of my tarp... Scared the #### out of me..thankfully i listened to the voice that told me to pull over and check it a couple miles earlier before this happened, got a couple clicks out of it... Probably wouldve come thru my cab if i didnt do that.... Still to this day that voice has never lied to me as silly as it sounds...Made me realize how dangerous some of the stuff we haul is...

More small tractors, 5 of them, in the roll tite. Not a fan of the 2 beside each other. Need some short chains, and shackles would help. The holes they give you in the frame is too small for my 3/8 grab hooks, so I remove 1 hook to get the chain thru. Some guys use 1 chain front and back for the 2 side by side, go thru the push guard on front with rubber or carpet. 2 chains,2 binders for 2 tractors. I cant do that, every tractor gets 2 chains and binders, bigger get 2 chains, 4 binders. 20221017_151934.jpg 20221017_151900.jpg 20221017_151838.jpg 20221017_151846.jpg
    What shackles should I get?

You can get some T-hooks for those as well. Real fast and easy with that type of tie down point.

3.5t and 6t shackles minimum rating
(1/2 inch to 3/4 inch and maybe 7/8 inch)
for flat/ step work and buy them 4 at a time and at least 2 sizes to start.
