Definitely stay with dry van. Reefer outfits have crazy delivery schedules.

It's too bad you can't do nights/night driving.

I adapted to it....as part of my fuel delivery job.

Night driving offers some nice advantages for a truck driver.

Also--the night has its own "sacred beauty"...as I prefer to call it.

Those who sleep through it all miss out on a lot of nature's "eye candy".

I agree 100%. And it is too bad. Even as a young person, and teens are practically vampires when it comes to night time, I just couldn't do it. My bio-clock is set on country hick time. Rooster crows I'm up...and an annoying morning person too.

You are going to be hard pressed to find any door swinger zero labor trucking job where there are no nights involved especially pulling a reefer. Maybe after you build a bit of seniority someplace you will but not starting out. Good luck.

I know I'm looking for something very specific. But it is not complicated. It's out there because I also understand trade offs. The job I have right now was nearly perfect until I moved. My bad.
Jm Bozeman is an awesome amazing job. I recommend them 100% if you can drive 3rd shift jit overnights the rest of your career. Some people can, I can't.

I am checking out every suggestion you guys are offering so please don't feel unheard or under appreciated.

Here's what I think I'm going to do for now.
My friend at artur wants me to cool my heels for a minute to see what he can learn. I trust this guy so I'm going to do this.

    1. Pack for my current slip seating job like I'm only going to be out 2 weeks at a time.
    2. Drive my economy fiesta to hooks yard.
    3. Persist and insist on getting my miles from New dm.
    4. Keep investigating opportunities, but apply for nothing until I have gleaned every morsel of input from and about them I can.

Search to resume in about 4 weeks unless something amazing intervenes

Also considering lane finders as an alternative. Not sure exactly how they work and if it is a good idea or not. I'm pretty exhausted right now and subject to bad decisions when tired.
