Why are Chicago trucking companies plastered everywhere?

It don't matter what city I look in on Craigslist Chicago companies are everywhere, what is going on with that? In Missouri there are no local companies posting ads, it's 90% Chicago and 10% other states.

 

Well if you scroll past them you'll have nothing, so I guess it's safe to say that only mega carriers are hiring...
They suck you in, cheat you out of miles, skim off the top of your check, get you home at their convenience not yours, basically you're a road slave under a mega carrier...
And to top it off if you don't do exactly what they want they just kick you out of the truck in the nearest city they have a yard in.... Trucking has really went to hell

 

They must have a hundred accounts with Craigslist because you're only allowed to post three resumes per account, all this posting is a full-time job for plenty of people

 

I check this forum regularly and there's nothing in Missouri, I'm not in a position to drive to another state for a job, people from other states just don't get it.
I don't want to fly anymore because I don't trust it, I want my car to be parked exactly where I pick the truck up, that way if it don't work out I have a way back home.... If you fly to another city and get hooked up with a company that don't work out, guess what when you bring the equipment back you're stuck in that city

 

They will tell you what you want to hear, I guess it's something that you have to demand in writing, for the most part trucking companies are not trustworthy at all, they are worse than any car salesman on the planet
