Paccar continues to soar, sees only good times ahead

Good times for them. Putting out such a ####ty product and charging a premium for it. even their dealers don’t keep parts in stock and want you to pay the shipping.

Good for them. For me and im sure many others this is the last paccar product i will EVER own. Used to be a day where a long nose pete was a point of pride like driving a rolls royce. If you had one you had it made.

Nowadays they are worse then a pinto crossed in some unholy union with a firestone equiped ford exploder and a reliant robin maybe with a dash of GMC grimlin amd some yugo mixed in. Unreliable, ugly as sin, piss poor build quality, balless and somehow still toating a peicetag that makes even lambo owners wince. Anymore if you see a pete owner there is a better then even chance his truck is a money pit at least on par with my own bullfrog.

Course im biased as ####.

 

When the worm turns these greedy oems and dealers are gonna get whats coming to them .

 

That's not something new that's the way it has always been, LOL.

Pay an outrageous amount of money for something that is ugly, uncomfortable, and unmaneuverable, and the brand that you have spent this outrageous amount of money on they can't even be bothered to sell you parts. If you call for parts, the parts guy will just laugh at you. Maybe their parts department is just chrome, Chicken Lights, and belt buckles?

And if by some insane chance they have whatever it is you're looking for you're going to spend five times more than what you would spend on a good truck for parts.

To me petro-bilt is like a guy that has a wife. She's got to have the huge house and the huge diamond and a new car every other year and multiple vacations every year.

She flat out tells her husband, "I don't work, I don't cook, I don't clean, don't even think about having sex with me. I go to the salon every Tuesday and I go to the spa every Wednesday I go shopping every Thursday and my weekends are for my girlfriends. You know that Monday is my day of rest and you will not disturb me. By the way I backed our $100,000 Mercedes into this guy's lamborghini. And when she leaves, you turn around and you, horrified by what you just witnessed, look at him and before you can even say one word, he looks at you and says, "Isn't she wonderful? How did I get so lucky?".

You know it's ironic, we as drivers are fighting or rates and cents per mile while all the manufacturers, fortune 500 company's ect continue to put up record profit numbers. That's 750 million in 1 freaken qrt.

Like Jesse the body once said, every one out here complaining about minimum wage, yet no one bats an eye on maximum wages because there is none. You can make what every people are willing to pay you, unless your a trucker of course then you make what the broker says ......

 

I’ve had Kenworth, peterbilt, and freightliners. Really prefer peterbilt because the dealer is awesome with parts and discounts. Kenworth is ok too. Freightliner dealer sucks, takes 1-2 hours waiting in line. However all my trucks are old 1996-2000 since I sold my 2017 t680 and trucks in those days are awesome.
