Especially recent experience, I heard they have a relatively light and very strong material.
And yes, I have heard that before referring to other manufacturers!

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

My old boss tried a set of tarps from them after his regular guy retired. He wasn’t happy with them. They didn’t have as many d rings and the stitch count on the webbing was lower. After a while the rows of rings started pulling out of the tarps. At the same time that he ordered a set of lumber tarps to try out he ordered a tarp for his 45ft belt trailer and they made him a 42ft tarp.

He started using Ruff n Tuff down in Caldwell. That guy would make tarps exactly how you wanted him to. They got bought out by ShurCo a couple years ago but I think they still make flatbed tarps.

They are junk. Had my dump tarp get ripped and had to replace it and they were who were closest and could.get it to me soonest so i ordered one. it started coming apart after just 3 weeks. The D rings ripped out the flap after 2 days then the material started to split where it rubbed over my bows or anywhere it was stitched or streched due to being paper thin. Thin tent wall thin. They were expensive too. I think $1400 to do a 48 foot dump tarp

If you want a quality tarp see girard tarps out of girard KS. Had several of their tarps and they hold up VERY well though they are a bit spendy compared to other brands, the extra cost is worth it though as ive never had to replace a tarp they did. The occasional patch from hauled material punching a hole into said tarp not wistanding.
