I picked up a 1970 W925 and it doesn't have fuses just breakers. I'm not getting any power to the lights or dash at all and am looking for a wiring diagram. Local dealer can't find anything for it.

More than likely you're going to have to physically chase wires. A lot of technical info for these older trucks simply just doesn't exist anymore. Even info for my 1980 KW is hard to find.
Diesel Dave and singlescrewshaker Thank this. -
I am not sure about 1970 but later KW's used the switches on the ground side of relays. Switches had no power to them as they used the ground side to ask a relay to engage.
Look for some big breakers, look kind of like small solenoids, in the battery box, on fire wall and saw some in the LH frame rail. Test those.
We used to run a KW like AModelCat has but with a 290 and torsion bar suspension. Do not really remember a lot about it. Pictures might help.singlescrewshaker and Star Rider Thank this. -
a 1970 Kenworth had power to the switches. Some of the breakers on the right side of the switch panel were fed from the key switch and some were fed directly from the ammeter. There was a heavy cable that came from a breaker in the battery box that supplied power to the ammeter. Power from the key switch also came from the ammeter.

Thank you, I'll be breaking out my test light and tracking down wires this week. It has been converted to 12 volt and a lot of wires have been deleted and a few added.
