I was on oh-7 this afternoon had a delivery in Kinsman hands down going to be the easiest of these 5 deliveries. Started off in Utica Michigan ending up in Cranberry PA tomorrow with a stop in Hermitage. made it to Truck world for dinner.

Those were the few loads I had where the customer was glad to see you after telling you how long they'd been waiting for delivery. Most of the customers were really nice and were able to get their stuff unloaded pretty quickly, nothing at all like some of the deliveries in Memphis.
I'm not sure if slowly meandering through the countryside wondering "is this really a truck route", wondering if I could get in and out of the dealership or pulling out all those nails were the worst, but it's hard to top the empty I picked up at XPO in Atlanta in the summer heat that they'd managed to unload without removing any of the nails or woodblocks and brought to Cville for someone else to use.

My delivery in Utica Michigan for John Deere the docks were pretty nice guys then it went downhill from there. John Deere North Royalton Ohio shares a parking lot with a Mexican restaurant. The Deere employees could care less that cars were blocking the dock. Went over to the Mexican restaurant asked them if they could move their cars they were more than gracious. So much so that next I have home time I’m going up there and getting some takeout.

Hermitage PA wtf make you back in off 2 lane road into their dock up a hill with a ditch on the other side of the road.

My trainee has been on hometime this past week!!!!! I’ve actually had to work!!

Some our terminal pumps now ask if we are fueling reefer.

Which acquisition has reefers in the fleet? CFI? #### y'all getting some variety now. Reefers and frack water bottles. Maybe they'll buy us next and then they'll have dump buckets, trash tippers, pneumatics, roll offs, and even a few flatbeds.

    MIT Thanks this.

So I hear that Purina in Zanesville is now a live load because of people dropping "dirty" trailers in there.

    1. I'm glad that didn't happen when I still drove for Millis, as that was often a load out for me. In fact, the very last load I pulled for them came out of there.

    2. From what I understand the "dirt" was those tiny bits of glass that 99% of the Millis trailers have in them that's pretty much impossible to get out. I don't even know where it comes from. I had a trailer rejected because of glass from this shipper in NY that was supposed to load milk protein going to craft on there. That was the only time I ever had a problem like that. If they're gonna reject trailers because of a little bit of inconsequential glass, then y'all are fixing to have a bad time when you go there.

It is true that it’s now a live load. Yes it had to do with the glass, but having to take out one of those rejected trailers to have it washed out at the blue beacon it came down to driver laziness. Idriver who dropped it never even thought to sweep out the trailer. It was like someone went in there and purposely smashed bottles on the floor. What really sucks is once loaded you got to sit there for a couple hours and wait for them to complete the lab work!
