Reddit Truckers subreddit is a younger crowd and has a decent size international presence on it as well (not only English speaking countries, seen Scandanavian truckers and German truckers post on there in English as well).
Trucking Truth Forums is a pretty weird place. The moderators are mostly drivers that have been at Megas such as Swift and Prime for decades of their life. Which, nothing wrong with that, but what is wrong with that is that they always advise to STAY with those companies for years on end and act like getting experience through a Mega company is the only way. They act like the Megas can do no wrong. Any criticism of any Mega results in an automatic and a SWIFT (pun intended) ban lol. I'm pretty sure half the mods over there train for whatever Mega they work for. I know one of the female moderators over there trains for Prime, she shills out her YouTube videos on those forums lol. I'm not sure whether or not the site is actually owned by Mega companies, or if the mods over there are just raking in the dough by getting referral bonuses by constantly advertising for whatever Mega each individual mod works for. It's just a weird place lol.
I think a lot of company drivers get on group chats on various social media platforms.
I would stay away from YouTube. A lot of swindlers on that platform peddling whatever it is they're trying to sell to you. Some can be good though. Just proceed with caution I guess.
There's an LTL forum too that charges you money to use to it. I can't remember the name of it now but I came across it a long time ago. I can't imagine why anybody would actually pay to use an internet forum in the year of 2022, but to each their own. They actually did have some decent info on there though now that I think about it, if I remember right you got something like 10 free clicks or something before you had to start paying to use the forum.
Overall I would say this forum and Reddit Truckers are probably the best. You can probably create group chats/group telephone calls easy enough if you start meeting people in your company as well.Another Canadian driver and Lite bug Thank this. -

We have a culture here of not pointing out grammatical errors of any kind. As long as you understood what the driver was trying to say, its normal here to just ignore it.
I mostly agree with this policy
Mixing up then and than... that makes me crazy for some reason but I never say anything88 Alpha, Another Canadian driver, homeskillet and 3 others Thank this.
