The journey begins - purchased a truck.

Is ABF in the old CF terminal, maybe it was OD? I remember going by there many times but it has been many years.

 

Old Dominion in the old Cf terminal. Abf is just north of Keen and Yellow and Saia across the street.

 

I'll wave in your general direction with all 5 fingers while in the wide open spaces and nicer people in the upstate, making my delivery then peddling 4 pickups on the way out.

Just watched video of the WE up into the middle making the detour U turn.

Haven’t seen any pictures of my parked truck lately, because it hasn’t been ther in 10 weeks.
I am on a project till February 8, Green Bay to Columbus,Ohio.
Load Wednesday, deliver Thursday, deadhead to Rockford, then Uber to bus station, bus to O’hare, American Airlines to OKC, then Tuesday am fly back to Chicago, bus, Uber then back to Green Bay by 5pm, sometimes load that night or 6am on Wednesday and start all over. Lots of frequent flyer miles.
3 nights in truck,4 nights at home.
One 680 mile load a week.

 

Sounds like a great gig all except flying to Chicago land. Ha Ha
