Ain’t that the truth. 68mph and 110psi. Just put it in the big hole and sit back to enjoy the ride.

Every time i load over 40k there is a greater chance of blowing tire running over 62-64mph ... Happened to me several times this year during warm months, get ready to replace tires every year , ... I am guessing bearings replacement will be earlier due to the fact that they always run under higher temps .
    P. S. I have auto inflation system on mine

One of my best friends has a MAC lowpro 53' step. The thing I like about Mac is they will pretty much build whatever you want. He actually had them build his 53' with the rear axle all the way to the rear and has something like a 12 foot spread instead of your normal 10'2" spread. Super nice trailer and very stout.

I know nothing about dumps and some about fuel tankers. Both offerings from MAC are the best looking in the business.

The downside of a low pro is that you may not get up some ramps (like up to warehouse, or similar), you may hang it when loaded, especially if 53’. And no flatbed dock unloads for sure. 22.5“ make for the most versatile trailer if you are trying to eat into a flatbed freight too, if you’re trying to eat into a double drop territory definitely 17.5”. Sometimes the over 10’ freight sits on the docks and they do bump the price for sure, until one pops up.

They certainly do build them to owners specs. They probably the best part and I felt that their sales people were very knowledgeable on what would work and what wouldn’t. Most of the Michigan heavy haul guys run MAC’s dump and flat. That always stuck out to me. And companies hauling specialized freight used MAC’s.

    Just my opinions of course.

    I agree with you.
After buying a Mac and seeing how they’re built: I wouldn’t hesitate to call them the best.

I've seen a few lately with that 12' spread, there any reason people go that far? Seems to be it'd turn even worse and eat tires more than a regular 10' spread.
