    well many of us drove/drive up there, and it's not to be taken lightly to reduce speed.

    it should be "assumed" when you see shiny road surface, you are on ice.

    my bulk of Maine road driving was on the turnpike, and at least there are signs that light up warning you of ice.

    after that, Rte 1, i'd be very careful.

    i loved my job, but hated the winters up there.

    and in those pics..??

    looks like the salt shaker came out AFTER the wreck....

    like why wasn't the road salted/sanded long before..???

    The driver must be Chinese. His name, FanFan, reminds me of FangFang, which made the news a few months ago.

    So far the furthest I’ve driven into Maine is Augusta. Usually I don’t go that far in,typically I go to the Walmart DC in Lewiston or the Poland Spring plants in either Poland Spring or Hollis Center. But make no mistake the roads can get pretty slick when winter weather sets in up there!
