One is dry Van and the other is a reefer
Myself I heard lots and good stuff about marten then I hear people don’t like it too..
Also with Crete as well some people love it and some hate it
I got myself ab offer from both 62CPM and another offer from jb hunt much less but I’ll be home every weekend,
And now I’m looking into TransForce I think it’s gonna be my choice for their wide variety
Stay safe y’all and happy holidays

It depends on what you're looking for. Both can offer 48 state OTR. Both can offer regional depending on where you live. Either way, you're experience will be contingent on what you put into it and whether you can adapt to that company's way of doing things. Me personally, I'm about that reefer life so I don't feel like I could wrong either way. Companies may have slightly different practices, but at the end of the day, they're pretty much the same. Flip a coin and go to orientation.

I drove for Crete in 2017 and overall I enjoyed it. I left because I wanted a local job. I would not want to pull a reefer, but that is just my personal preference. You may want to look at which of these companies has a terminal/drop lot near where you live.

    Numb Thanks this.

    Reefer sucks.
Long unload times, long trailer wash out times, stupid appointment times.
For the same rate per mile van is better.

Long trailer washout times? Most drivers take longer in the shower. I do washouts once a month, at the most, lately. Some of you drivers will complain about anything. Why bother driving? Can't pull a plain box even. Long drop and hook times.

The OP hasn’t been back, since starting this thread. Obviously, didn’t need anyone’s advice, afterall.
