Uggggh....service done, new LLC stickers installed instead of Inc. couldn't find a power steering leak (even though it was low and the axle, pump and frame has fluid on it). Couldn't find any codes for the ABS, Traction control, and adaptive cruise problem, so that is gonna be a gremlin until it goes completely out or I time it right the next time it goes nuts. The diesel leak and the crash nanny radar alignment is a warranty item, so I am waiting to hear about getting me into the local KW dealer or do it later...when did Freightliner start building KWs? It's starting to feel like I am driving a Freightliner all over again.

*Update....the shop said they told breakdown about my truck needing KW...I told dispatch that I was waiting for breakdown to call and tell me what the plan was. Dispatch calls me and needs to get the story from me...I ended up calling breakdown and asking about the warranty work to my truck....and it was news to him that it needed to go to KW, so there is a major communication issue between the shop and the guy who organizes warranty work because the last service, the shop was supposed to tell me to take it to KW when they needed to see if my truck was under that steering box recall PACCAR had going on, but never said a word. So now I am waiting to see when I get out of here. Dispatch said the planner had me on a Eugene and Victorville load...if we're gonna wait for repairs, then I need to roll. Grants Pass and Weed, CA doesn't get this winter crap until 4 pm tomorrow. If I can drop the Eugene off tomorrow morning, I can make Redding before the weather hits that area.

That is a dumb restriction. I could see no Saturday at all, but why starting at NOON?

    D.Tibbitt and kylefitzy Thank this.

Well the winter storm warning for this area has been cancelled. However, inland must be a different story. Google Maps shows I-90 orange and red from the North Bend area to Spokane.

They decided to try to get me in the local KW shop. Haven't gotten a firm appointment yet, but said it's looking like early afternoon tomorrow. If this 'in KW every 3 months" stuff keeps up, I may request a different truck.

*Update....there is a serious communication issue between breakdown and other departments in this office. Yesterday, the shop said they told him about my need to go to KW, which he said he didn't hear about. Now this morning, he came up with a plan that he sent to dispatch, it was for me to take my truck over to KW, bring back a truck that had been fixed. Then, when my truck is done, take another truck to them and pick up my truck. However, nobody from dispatch contacted me. So I did the 1st swap, now I am sitting in the driver's room waiting to hear if my truck is done...

Oh, and Snoqualmie east bound has been closed since this morning. It was supposed to open at noon, but the closure has been extended until 18:30.

2500 miles in 5 days, that’s being over optimistic. At the end of day two I’m 750 miles in, and can’t roll until 9am tomorrow. Looking more like 6-7 days

Well....KW got the fuel leak fixed. While they were driving the thing to align the crash ##### box, the ABS, Traction Control, Stability Control gremlin reappeared, so now they're addressing that as well as the crash radar issues. For once, an intermittent issue appeared at the right time....a blind squirrel really will find a nut once in a while. So, I am in a hotel tonight...

Finally the intermittent issue comes alive at the right moment..those type of issues can drive a crazy person insane at times..
