    The goal is the maintenance to be no more than 25 cpm.
    It's like you new trucks don't brakedown. You go to the dealer, they don't have the part of course, and then it takes 2 months to fix it. It happened

    Oh it’s crashing! Plenty of guys are not getting financed when truck gets to the lot. Bye bye deposit. Same thing is happening to trailers. Plenty of new flatbed, dryvan, and now reefers are unsold. Price of the new ones are still high and so are the interest rates! Most financing is pre approved for 30 days but price is fixed along with the build before that. There lies a problem.

    Can’t remember if I’ve posted it on TTR or not but I recently sold a 2018 680 x15 with 389k and a 13 speed (lessens value) for 95 and a 2019 680 x15 with same only 12 sp auto for 105. I’d have to check my numbers but I’m 90% sure that’s what it was.

    I’m not proud of those numbers but when the buyer for both is cash in hand I decided to take it. That may give you some reference. I could have listed the trucks and maybe gotten more but money talks.

    Maybe you could feasibly get 90?

    As far as when to take the truck only you know that but technically it’s when it goes into service as I’m sure you know. You also have to take into account if you’ve fully depreciated it and that adding to your income of course.

    I'm thinking 90 is probably the top end, but it does come with the EPU and other higher end goodies that should keep the value up. That's still $50K less than six months ago. Would have been nice!

    I might toss it on Truckpaper and see what nibbles I get. Dealer was supposed to appraise it today, but I didn't get a number. The new sales dweeb isn't much on the ball.

    Yeah, for sure coulda shoulda is how I felt but if you can still get a great price then it’s still a win. I always sell my own stuff to gain that 20k that the dealer wants for himself. I get the dealers feel they have to put new tires on or whatever plus a detail but for me at least it pays to sell myself. But, my guess is your truck is already on point.

    If you can afford to buy the new one without the immediate the cash of the used one then it generally pays off.
