    Thank you sir
I do control my speed going down. I did hit 70 cause I was learning to use the engine break as my trainer was help me understand how the jack break works. All is good.

Relocating the license plate in front of the radar might make it slightly less annoying.

I've seen two different outcomes for those systems when an obstruction, for example ice exists before starting. One is the inability to initiate cruise control and the other you just had cycle cruise on/off three times to overcome it.

I always wondered if it was just a difference in model year installation for the same system or who knows...

Do you harken to know what's standard if you block it? Cruise unable to use while blocked or 3 on/off cycles?

I’ve had snow and ice block mine before. All it did was disable the collision mitigation. The cruise still worked. This is on a Peterbilt.

Once while in New Jersey I saw a Schneider lease truck with a black colored card board zip tied to the front sensor. ;)

I would go find another outfit to drive for. Sounds like they distrust their drivers. And I’m sure if you do have an accident and even if you’re not at fault they will throw you under the bus.

Pull a Wile E. Coyote and tape a picture of the open road in front of your radar. :Road::thumbright:

I don't have a driver facing camera, but everything else is pretty much the same.

Learn the rules and abide by them and you will maintain a good safety score.
It does take a bit of patience on your part. And that is not a bad thing.

If you want to be a crazy driver, just find a company that does nothing to try and keep you safe.
