I'm heavy hauling (3-axle RGN) for a small outfit. I only have a year of experience. I'm making ok money (~$2500 per week) as a company driver. However, there is little opportunity to grow because they are small. I can move to DE, but am concerned about online reviews. Also, I am concerned about making less money. Do any of you have any personal experience with Daily? Thank you in advance.
Should I move to Daily Express?

Questions:
1.What kind of growth are you looking for? Long and tall pay better. Well, they should pay better.
2. Any handholding and cattle prods at your current gig? Or do they trust you to do your job? The bigger the company, the stupider the average driver of the fleet, the more handholding the company does, the more cattle prods in the truck. There’s no way in Hell I would trade a job where I am trust to one where I’d have to agree to hand holding…unless the money was obscenely stupid.
3. What sorts of things concern you about Daily? And do they still have that sliding percentage pay-scale where the bigger the load, the less your percentage?
4. Do they primarily have their own contracts or do you deal with agents and brokers. Agents and brokers SUCK when compared to direct contracts, even for a company driver.Gearjammin' Penguin and singlescrewshaker Thank this. -

I was recently rejected from there because I don’t have six months current Flatbed experience. I did however haul 125,000lbs Aluminum coils for a year out of Logan and spent 4 years hauling Toyota frames coast to coast & 9 years on a route hauling 60+‘ters to STL, but recently, no I was a looser LTL driver nonetheless the guy who called to recruit me seemed real nice
Gearjammin' Penguin Thanks this.
