Amazon semi-truck carrying 8,000 pounds of packages goes up in flames

good excuse to use, if someone forgot to buy a christmas present...

"uh yeah dear, i DID buy you a fantastic one of a kind gift from amazon, but since it burnt up? they have no more"...

 

Looks like they salvaged what they could before the truck went up in smoke.

Engine overheated? DPF clogged? Fuel injector/fuel rail leak?? Who knows!

Sir, it's clearly a diesel.

"8,000 pounds? That's maybe only two pallets worth."

We don't know if it was palletized, and generalized consumer parcels (product boxes) are a lot of air. 8,000 pounds could be a total loss for the trailer.

Lol this country knows everything, and everything is political.

 

Not surprising, given the quality of tractors and operators hooked to their trailers.

These amazon trucks are a menace, day to day. This whole race to the bottom, with the cheapest power only options is getting really old.
