You have to be 110% fit to throw those over young grasshopper ;):D:p. I need a rope to throw my 40” over, But I have color of white and gray hair. It’s ironic how I can still my 5/16 chains though on my steel loads though.

Update on that - Zamzow wanted close to $80 per strap. I don't mind paying for stuff but that was a bit ridiculous when you can get a 300' roll of 4" webbing for $180 and the hooks are less than $5. I flip flopped on the load, and didn't order any from a cheaper source , so I had My-Tee 2 day ship them to South Dakota for $311 freight included for 10 straps.

I tried all the above suggestions and nobody had them, and couldn't (or wouldn't ) get them in from their supplier for me.

I bought a 'Little Giant' foldable ladder, and can walk on the top of these things - so I figure I'll get up on top and 'drape' them over. @kylefitzy - your suggestion wouldn't work as I only have winches on the drivers side. I thought about a bunch of different options - but ultimately 50' was going to be the easiest one shot solution.

Yeah I wondered about the winches. Seems like every time I get a load that I really need winches on both sides, I get one of the ten trailers we have that only has winches on one side.

All in All that’s not a bad price for ten straps and Expedited freight. I paid $140 for 5 50’ straps and freight three years ago from “shippers supplies”.

Forgive me for being new. But what are you hauling that needs 50’ers? I carry 30’ and wish I had 20’ most of the time
