Where do you want truck washes located?

Sioux City Iowa, I emailed blue beacon and asked when they planned on building there. They replied and said they have no plans to build there. It’s a meat packing city and driving through on I-29 you can see thousands of trailers staged at a dozen warehouses. Surely those things have to be cleaned. To my knowledge, there aren’t very many washout/truck wash places in the area.

I pull a tanker and try to get my exterior washed in the wee hours of the morning. That’s usually a good approach in most regions. Some areas though like Dallas and there’s going to be a wait at all hours. Beacons washout express location in Dallas helps the their truck wash stay manageable though most hours.

 

There is a truck wash at the Ionia exit on 96.

 

They only do washouts, from what I understand.

 

In sioux city T&A truck wash and washout open 24/6.
There's a washout west of Dakota city. And lots of other trailer washouts in the area for all the livestock haulers.

 

Makes sense, I’ve never ventured far off of 29 in that region. Still seems like an ideal location for a wash bay or two in the Beacon’s home state.
