What O/O gig is the most lucrative but home daily? Day cab, log truck, dump, flatbed, etc? Anyone ever try to get into moving mobile homes?

I’m a company driver but have reached out to a couple companies in my state who hire o/o for local work. One does bark/mulch and landfill work, the other does wood chips and land fill work. The first company gave me fewer details but drivers typically bring in around $6,000 or so a week. The other company is more like $6,000-8500/week depending on how a guy wants to run, and the season. They gave me the load rates and availability so I was able run estimates on a mock week. Both claim this is year round.
Anyway, I’m interested in following this as well.Last edited: Dec 8, 2022

Honestly I would look at starting a different kind of business if being home nightly is a big concern.
