px-9 ecm password?

i have just got the insite program and well i had it trying to read ecm but now its asking for the ecm password.our truck is a peterbilt 348 px-9 (2021). called dealership but they are just giving me the run around. is there a master code . i heard it could be the last 8 of your vin but tried that and it didnt work. Any suggestions?

Try 1234, and just the last 4 of the VIN, Otherwise you will have to get a zap-it key from cummins to remove the password. (no big deal to do as long as you own the truck)

If the ECM password has been locked and you do not know the code you will need to obtain a zap it from Cummins to clear the password for access. Password should only lock parameter changes and software changes to the engine. Should be able to still read and clear faults.
