Hey guys any advice would be appreciated
We live in cartersville Ga (NW georgia next to kennesaw)
We have experience with van, reefer, doubles, and a very small amount of flatbed (we've done like 5 loads in the past 2 months total). We also just got our tanker/haz a few days ago, along with our twic. We have been driving as a team for 6.5 years. Clean record etc. We are power only. Willing to rent most likely.
I've looked into tristate already, they don't except trucks older than 2019, I have a 2016 freightliner. I actually got my haz/tank just for them and they changed that at the end of November so that sucked.
I worked at FedexCC and they seemed to be falling apart when i was there. I couldn't make over $3000 a week net working there as a team and we drive hard! The recruiter told me the avg rate was 3-4$ and I couldn't find anything consistently over $2.30 while i was there earlier this year.
I'm really struggling to find anybody that sounds legit or worth my time in pay. I'm not savvy or knowledgeable in finding the best companies. All the ones I've found either have zero info online besides their website and a few suspiciously posotive 5 star Google reviews, or they are based out of good ol' Illinois with all the stigmas I was told to avoid.
If anybody can guide us in the right direction we'd truly appreciate it. If this is the wrong place/way to ask I apologize and I'm also seeking leads to the correct subforum haha

One husband/wife team went to Carolina Logistic.
He had several years experience and she had none.
Said their first load was to California.

Understand you have your own unit - but sometimes, well, times like these . . .
I'm with LS in an ex AAE team truck, and have an understanding - but like said, it's a steep curve.
I posted a video on my YT channel interviewing a Bennett AA&E team, no real interest in it - but it's up there.Banker, WhatsYour20 and TAGreen Thank this. -
