My 2003 w900 has that old style cone shaped power Steering reservoir and it’s been leaking. So I called kenworth and they said they don’t make them anymore. My plan was to use a newer style plastic reservoir.

Has anyone upgraded their old style cone shaped power steering reservoir to a newer plastic top reservoir. Let me know if it’s even possible

    Oxbow Thanks this.

689CD7B8-8D6B-4AF6-9C39-BDEAD2C4A2BC.png If it’s the standard steel type, with filter inside, mounted to a piece of channel for a bracket. They sure do still make them. Look online. Search Freightliner PS reservoir. If this is it, it’s available.

The one I have is allot different then what You have As you can see it’s all welded together and the radiator support mounts to it as well

Sire it wouldn't be that hard with a little fab work. Or just find a good used one from the salvage yard

Same thing. Different mounting bracket. There’s a bunch of different bracket types. You could grind the old one off, leave the bracket. Drill 4 holes and mount one of these. Could also have it tack welded. Could have yours patched if leaking. Doesn’t look rusty. Where’s the leak? Lots of choices available. New about $200, used $100 on average.
