Lot of CANCELLED FLIGHTS and for the best reason: SAFETY, not of the passengers, FOR THE CREW.

 

Seems like an interesting idea and if straight through, minus Natural breaks, I'd guess about a couple weeks.

So I met @Oxbow about a week ago, we sat and shot the bull for nearly an hour. He seems like a pretty #### good guy, he prepaid for an Xmas gift for Tramm.

I met up with @tramm01 yesterday to go over the particulars. This is the pattern for a cell phone holster, the first of 2 items Tramm is getting.

My tier 1 suppliers closed up for the year, so my tomorrow’s run canceled. Just as well, since I wasn’t liking the slick roads with a crosswind out of the north. Temp dropped ~20° in ~30mi. Dispatch is talking about looking for broker loads, for next week.

I'll make a blindside prediction:
There'll be at least 500 Trucks with and without Trailers stuck in Medians and Ditches through Out The Storm Area, which of course, is almost the entire Sea To "I Can't See The Sea".
A few more just in NY State and the usual areas with HIGH VEHICLE/HIGH WIND DANGER, because too many Truckers anymore ain't got a licka' sense and prove it on dry Roads, so wet and frozen roads seem to multiply the "I know what I'm Doing, leave me alone".

I really wish States would do the COMMON SENSE thing when these "super genius" Truck and Passenger Vehicle Drivers BYPASS or IGNORE STORM WARNINGS, FLASHING SIGNS & LIGHTS as well maneuver around or slide through Road/Highway Barriers, then wanna whine about they need help, The STATE just ignores them (see 3po), below.
Like Signs in Places we've seen. (fore example):
1) Travel beyond this sign without proper equipment as stated below may well result in serious INJURY or DEATH.
2) Limited Phone Service.
2B) Emergency Personnel Not Likely Available.
3po) Proper Equipment: On/Off Road Vehicle NOT A Class A Truck, WATER, Beanie-Weenies and Corn Chips, slight modicum of COMMON SENSE (You're There Dude), COMPASS, Blankie, Inflatable, Robo Guide.
