Truck Load Rates Halt 8 Week Slide 2.0

I haven’t decided yet. Trucks are starting to come available and part of me is thinking about listing it and seeing what happens. Then I have until the end of 2023 to buy something or pay taxes. I also have my old cabover that I could dump the money into if I sell my current truck. But then again I have a place to park it inside if I keep it and my taxes would be better off.

 

Gotta say I’m pretty surprised. Is this financial or are you just sick of the burden of truck ownership?

Seems like a ton of people on TTR have sold their trucks or are very close to it. But, I wasn’t expecting that from you.

 

Not financial, I can take the job and keep my truck parked. It’s more of a regular schedule and the money and benefits are good. It’s something I’ve had in the back of my mind for a while. I’ll send you a message.

Regular schedule, which means regular time at home to pursue personal happiness is what really matters.

I was thinking too about getting a position at a local library. I could do that for some time for mind clarity and personal rediscovery. A regular schedule, means the same smell of espresso every morning, easy job, late afternoon workout at a swimming pool or a gym, followed by a familly supper and watching a favorite TV show before falling asleep. Then attending mass every Sunday.
Religion becomes important again at certain age too. Maybe attending some chess club or signing up for a continuing education class at a community College would be fun too..
Dang...life is too short to spend it like that with a view of the asphalt ribbon all that time.
