Seems like that. This Truck has had an interesting personality since day one.

It’s at 400k so I assume over the next year it will be replaced. But I hear the new truck orders are coming in very slow so I’ll deal with its personality for the time being.

While I’d rather be rolling down the road, FCC does take good care of us during downtime. Not good for the Company to pay a driver that’s not generating revenue but that’s part of the industry and they do step up when the Truck is down.

Grabbed a load off the CB yard going to Four Oaks, N.C., I’m currently sitting in St. Joseph, Mo. taking my 10. Instead of getting up at 0100 and rolling out in the morning, I’m going to drag my feet tomorrow and roll out about 0600. I want let the snow storm do what it’s going to do overnight across Missouri and into the early a.m., and then roll out. No hurry on this load, it can drop whenever.

gntorres61, YardMule89, BigR and 2 others Thank this.

I'm an early riser but not that early. My go to time to start is 4-5 am. Not saying I have never woken up at midnight or 1 am, but my body would take me out behind the barn and shoot me if I did that on a regular basis.

Outta the house with a brokered load from Martinsville VA (Hanes underwear) to DG dc in Blair NE. Was there nearly three hours minus the 45 min early that I got there. I'd come back.
