We have a 2018 and 2020 567 with about 10 factory spare switches. I gather that these are all multiplexed and are not actual switches that you can tap directly into. So where did they hide all these outputs? There are a couple threads I've found but none have a definite answer and neither does the body builder manual. Is this something that has to be programmed with DAVIE? You'd think with all these #### switches it shouldn't be that difficult to use them for trivial little things.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

The switches need to be enabled thru ESA.

ESA is Paccar software used for diagnosis/programming of electronics mostly non-engine related.

Not really. Many of us shop owners have ESA along with all of the other OEM programs. Almost impossible to run a successful repair business without them.

Your chassis may be different as well. The 2018 is surely ESA. The 2020 model may be VECU in which case is a VMux truck and the switches are done thru PVP and Davie. All digitaL dash and newer trucks=no more ESA

I have extra spare switches on my 2014, and I have insulating wiring with connectors that are tuck around different areas on the truck, like;, by the air cleaners, under the cab, under the sleeper, and by the front bumper. Just saying.
