How do you deal with mud on your boots getting in your truck?

i used to dip them in the windshield wash buckets at the fuel island.



seriously, i had a brush, that i'd just do the best to get the stuff off.

 

I usually use a particular blade on my pocket knife to scrape off the sides of the soles, and the heavy stuff off the bottom. I have a brush on the drivers step to get the little stuff….

 

Driving shoes and outside shoes. Or no shoes, take them off as you get in

 

No gross boots inside, they come off and go into a plastic bin.

 

And here I thought that was just bug juice in the windshield cleaning bucket…. Lol

 

Why bother cleaning your Boots? I KNOW what a waste of time it is to do such since DRIVING is the agreement made when one became a DRIVER.

Just buy the cheapest you can find at Squal-Mart or some rat encrusted online vendor-broker (who speeka lettil inglis) and buy 6 pairs
(not-the-plastisteel-explode-a-toe) and when them wearin' boots get all gooed/muddied up, just get a new pair off of the passenger door floor and toss the mucked up ones, or sell 'em to someone in the parking lot.
Now if'n you're driving in Mud and Mucky stuff every day or night, then the "cleaning" suggestions of earlier posts are important.

 

Stomp on the snow or look for a small puddle to step in.

 

Brush and if its especially bad air hose. I also have a cheap dollar store mat between my seats i drop my boots onto before i get into the sleeper and a spare pair of boots i use until the other pair is dry or clean enough for my likeing.
