Well, guess who’s back in the Shop? A Love’s Shop this time. Left the Shipper last night and all was good. Before I hit the Interstate I noticed my Susp Load Gauge was at zero when it was at 25 when checking my load weight and then once on the Interstate the engine began making a terrible growling noise when it wasn’t actively pulling the load. But only when it was coasting.

I hit this once before but couldn’t remember the cause until talking it through with the after hours guardians. Last time it was some broken load arm that controls the air supply to the bags. This time that same arm seems intact but same low bags.

so I shut down and waited for my marching orders from breakdown this morning.

    Shower Time now.
    Stay Safe

At first I thought that was a scratch in the wheel, then I zoomed in on it. ####!!! that would have been catastrophic!

It is, after getting Shane and Travis’s opinions they agreed that I should get the rim replaced. Unfortunately the shop didn’t have one that matched my other rim, so $968 later I have two new steer rims.

Not sure when or where it occurred, as well all know our interstate system has some serious flaws. Also earlier in the week I was at Menards in Eau Claire, and one of the drop lots had some huge craters, so maybe it happened there.

Initially the shop I was at was trying to say “ If you’re not losing air you’ll be fine.” BS, first of all if caught during a DOT inspection, that would be an immediate OOS, and most importantly I value my life, and the people I share the road with.

Ignorant shop folks telling you’d be fine because it’s not losing air…

Had a "technician" at a Love's Google and watch a video about where the #### fuse box was on a 2020 Cascadia... I'm convinced they hire from the bottom of the barrel.

It's not losing air yet...but it will, most likely all at once.

Enjoy that shiny new look for about a cup of coffee. Better safe than sorry. I’m assuming you got the FCC discount that sounds pretty good for 2 new rims.
