My thoughts exactly. I got likes from him on the thread I started 10 years ago from the beginning. Probably getting tired of reading my rants.

I was also slowly working my way through the Magnum thread but that's a biggie. Over 2200 pages and I was just approaching 1000. Doing this saves me from asking 14 million questions.

BigR, dwells40 and Vic Firth Thank this.

Lots of good reading here as well as JB’s thread, of course if you want a loooong read check out Dave’s, what if it snows thread or one of the all time favorites, Werner trainer craps himself!

    Good luck with FCC!

Brrrr it’s cold out. Long slow ride across iowa yesterday. Windy, snow blowing across the road, snow plows out spraying deicer everywhere. Just lost confidence in driving normal speeds. Not too many were out and only a few passed me so I guess others felt the same way.

    getting tired of winter already.

I drove through Iowa yesterday morning and it wasn't too terrible. The main issues i ran into were blowing snow and visibility concerns. It helped that I had 40k pounds in the box but there were still times where everyone was down to 40-50. Also for some reason only one lane was clear the whole way, while the other hadn't seemed to be touched, so it became sketchy if you were trying to pass or was getting passed. For the most part i just sat behind another truck. Thought that was the safest instead of trying to pass everyone. Road conditions and general weather improved immensely once I crossed into Minnesota.

Also yeah I'm in Fargo right now and it's 12 below. Had to idle my truck all night.

Took a gander by the FCC terminal in Fremont on my way home from Fargo. Had a long line of tractors parked out front. Considering all the snow, they all looked pretty clean. 20230130_191810.jpg

Heading back to the Greater Atlanta Area today. Knock on wood, it looks like I might just skip between the warnings last night and the second one coming tonight. Hopefully.

I24 from the Tennessee line to Paducah was completely snow covered early this morning. We were down to about 30mph in a few spots. No one screwed it up at least when I came through about 0500.
