Every new CDL driver needs Tanker endorsement.

Study and get Tanker endorsement, when you go to the DMV to finish the HazMat process. Tanker is not just for pulling liquid tankers. A tanker endorsement is also required to haul certain fairly common freight that is carried inside dry vans, refrigerated trailers, and flatbeds. Until about 2012-1015 you only needed a Tanker endorsment is you wanted to pull tanker trailers. Now you need Tanker endorsement to pull those trailer and if you ever haul freight where a container holds more than 119 gallons or 1,000 pounds of bulk liquid like these. Tanker test is easy to study for and pass.
I use TruckerCountry.com and their practice tests. They have at least 10 versions of every endorsement test and it is the site I use when I renew my HazMat. This site also has practice tests at the links at the very top of the homepage.
