Guess the blue car driver didn't want to have too many out of route miles if they went to the next exit???

An everyday occurrence back in San Diego... with the idiot in question scraping your front bumper while bringing his 4-wheeler across. My all-time favorite last-ditch exit occurred in National City, with some pimpwagon suddenly cutting across 4 lanes of traffic (no signal, of course) to make an exit... thing was, he left it too late, so he didn't quite hit the ramp, he literally LAUNCHED off a 3' to 4' Baja drop-off alongside the ramp, and landed with a shower of sparks on the ramp below, lol. Probably high on crack, and the hard landing didn't do the pimpwagon any favors... crazy air though off that embankment, the off-ramp was one of those that descended to street level. The driver of that pimpwagon must have soiled his trousers launching off that steep bank, lol...

And somehow, this reminds me of another incident related to me by a fellow truck driver... y'all know those walled on-ramps in L.A. that start as 2 lanes and merge into 1 lane before merging with freeway traffic above? Well, this trucker turned onto that on-ramp and just stayed left, as that was the longer lane... some impatient jackhole in a pickup truck came roaring up the ramp, trying to pass on the right side before the first merge. Problem was, he ran out of real estate in that second or right lane, and his pickup wound up GRINDING HARD against the concrete wall... the moron trashed his pickup, but by God, he BEAT that truck up the ramp, lol. Some bad drivers really crack me up... they'll cut off their nose to spite their face, lol.

This is every day life, especially for us local haulers. When I come upon off and on ramps, interchanges etc, I’m on full alert mode, watching what’s in front, side, and behind me. This article could be a good educational clip for newbie’s. Like I’ve mentioned on here plenty of times, I’m on full alert mode soon as turn the key on and ANY vehicle I drive. People driving these days just get STUPIDER……..even the newer generation of truck drivers, YES …… I said it, the newer generation of truck drivers are STUPIDER…….

I had that happen to me in SLC, eastbound on the 201 coming up to 15. It was about 3AM in the morning and there was almost nobody on the road. I had to jam the brakes on so hard to save his life that it set off sensors to alert safety. Yeah, that guy pissed me off just a tiny bit. Idiot.
